Takes some getting used to

The recipe included in the literature is NOT a winner. After a bit of research, I was able to come up with something that actually worked. So far I've burned myself 4 times on the housing. Other than that, the appliance seems like it will be okay once I get used to it. As promised, nothing sticks to the plates. That's a plus.

got as a gift and really not sure how easy it would be in terms of mess and cleaning.....proved me wrong...so easy to use...absolutely no spill over like lay down waffle makers....just wipe clean....narrow profile for easy storage in cabinet...cooks fast and perfectly cooked everytime

Q: do you have to pour the batter in the upright position?? I make recipes that are very thick, and really wouldn't pour

A: Yes, the Neverstick Waffle Maker is designed for upright pouring using the included Precision Pour Cup. However, if your batter is too thick to flow properly, we recommend adding a tablespoon of water or milk to thin it slightly. This helps ensure even cooking and prevents overflow.

A: It depends on how crispy you want them, it has 5 options. I use #3 and it usually takes 1 to 2 mins. They always look perfect.
