Q: How long is the broom from base of corn husks to top of broom stick?

A: The corn broom handle is 36” and the corn broom head is 16”. Please note, that these sizes may slightly vary due to the handmade nature of the broom.

Q: Handle is plastic? The description says wood handle, but mine is a grey plastic. When did the handle change? Warning: mine stayed in a shed, and grew mold over the outside surface of the whole brush head.

A: The Likewise Corn Broom has a wood handle not a plastic handle. The 42-9519 Medium Corn Broom has a steel handle with a grey plastic cover. This could be the one you are referencing. When a Corn Broom stays in a damp or wet area it will get mold on it. A scrub brush and a hose can clean the corn and then you just have to stand the broom with the head up to let it dry.
