I had to replace my ANCHOR HOCKING-Fire King 1-L as all the red writing had come off. I certainly hope this doesn't happen to this new one.

Not Like the Old Ones...But Still Works

I've always had one of these in my house ever since I was knee-high to an atom. When we had to throw ours away, it was high-time to get another. Canadian Tire had what I wanted, and for a good price as usual, but I found out that these new ones are different! The spout is shaped differently than the old ones. These new ones leak like a sieve! As it turns out, the part just under the spout is rounded over and not sharp, which makes it leak and the water, gravy or whatever, pours all down the side and onto everything, making a mess. Sigh...well, at least I have something that somewhat works, but it's a shame the items that worked so well for so many years get modified and get ruined.
