Good quality sound, Great features

I bought these for my husband for his birthday next month, so they haven't been opened yet. But my young adult daughter has the exact same pair in a different colour and they're excellent. Fantastic features, great sound quality and they fit his ears well. They're too big for my tiny ears, so for the time being I'm stuck with an old pair of Samsung Buds+. If you could make a range designed to stay firmly in place in small ears I'd upgrade in a heartbeat.

After a few minutes of use, the earbuds stop working properly. Only the left earbud stays connected; the right one disconnects. I’ve unpaired them two or three times, but the problem persists. The volume suddenly jumps to a very high level, which hurts my ears. Be careful when buying these, because the sound can become painfully loud without warning.

Loved it for music!

Bought this a week ago. They work great. I use them for work. They fit nicely, and have ambient aware settings. Touch controls for each side, but if you only wear one, it will prioritize controlling music apps.
The app allows for more adjustments which is great! Long battery life for the pieces, even longer battery for the case.
Another thing I loved, the case is smaller than other companies ive used, and I think JBL has an even smaller case for a different pair!

Q: I just got the jbl tune beam 2 earbuds. I have followed the directions to the nth degree. These earbuds just do not block sound. I can hear everything around me. Putting cotton in my ears is as effective as the earbuds. What a waste of money.

A: I would try larger ear tips and trying to twist the earbuds themselves into your ear until you feel a slight suction effect.

A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Tune Beam 2 does not have an automatic wind reduction feature in ANC mode. However, it does feature Adaptive Noise Cancelling, which allows you to adjust or completely tune out surrounding noise.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. While our headphones are designed to reduce everyday noise using the noise-canceling feature, we unfortunately do not have a specific decibel rating for the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). However, the frequency range for our JBL Tune Beam 2 is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

A: Thank you for your question. Our JBL Live Pro 2 and JBL Live Beam 3 offer Active Noise Cancellation as well as Adaptive Noise Cancellation Features, whereas our JBL Tune Beam 2 features only Active Noise Cancellation. Active Noise Cancellation uses to reduces unwanted surrounding sounds by using microphones to detect external noise and then producing an "anti-noise" sound wave that is exactly out of phase with the original sound. Meanwhile, Adaptive Noise Cancellation is a more advanced form of ANC that uses microphones and sensors to evaluate ambient noise in real-time and automatically modify the anti-noise signal to match with the evolving surroundings.
