I use this stand mostly for digitizing photographs. With the phone pointing straight down I can quickly place photos under the phone for consistent framing. If it included a charging base for the phone that would make it even handier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how it clamps to things but i don’t feel like it was very stable. especially with a bigger phone or if it has a case, it can be a bit more difficult to use. i do like how it has 360 rotation and is pretty portable and can easily fit in my bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're like me and take your phone with you everywhere, the Scosche SUHTRVL-SP1 Lightweight Compact Travel Phone Mount/Stand is a perfect accessory. It folds flat, so it's easy to pack in my purse, so I have it when I need it. It's even small enough to pack in your pocket when folded flat. Once you figure out how to use it, it's really simple to use. You can clamp this in so many different places as well as use it on a tripod. I use this in my car clamped to my vent, on my front porch, clamped to my outdoor seating, in my living room, clamped to my end table, in my bathroom, clamped to the sink countertop, and in my bedroom clamped to my nightstand. I am looking forward to using it with a tripod, but I do not have one yet. The clamp holds my phone securely, even with a bulky case. I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, but the photos are of my sons phone, which is an iPhone 12, with a really bulky case. My phone is one of the biggest phones on the market so I believe this will fit almost any phone. It will clamp onto surfaces 1.5 inches wide or less, but I did find plenty of surfaces it would not fit. It is not wide enough for my kitchen table and will not fit on my kitchen countertop edge due to the shape. These are the two places I use my phone the most, so it was disappointing. However, I will get plenty of use with this either way. What I love the most about this accessory is that you can move it in any direction you wish for optimal viewing. It truly is a 360-degree adjustable holder. It is also built well, so I think it will last quite a while. With each adjustment, you hear a click, and it locks into place very securely. It's truly a no frills, easy to use, handy accessory that I take with me everywhere I go.
