Great tires at a fair price. Already been through a Canadian snow storm and they handled incredibly.

WINTER tires vs ALL SEASON tires.

I decided to put WINTER tire on the truck rather than ALL SEASON. The tread has a good depth and bites into the snow very well. Traction on ice is amazingly good.

Quality Tires

These tires are Made in USA by Cooper Tires (owned by Goodyear). Nice quality for the price, purchased during a 25% off and 30x the points event. Winter traction is greatly improved compared to winter-rated all terrain tires. Worry mentioning is the hydroplane resistance - I found in deep standing water that I wished it had a slightly improved resistance to skid compared to my Cooper Rugged Trek on the same vehicle as a comparison. These are on my 2022 Ram 1500 Classic in 275/60R20. Haven’t had them long enough to determine durability/tread wear compared to their mileage rating.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Q: I was told that it was against the law to purchase 2 winter tires for my truck, yet the BC MVA only requires winter tires on the drive axle ofnthe vehicle. Is this practice store policy?

  • A: I was told the same thing in SK. They wouldn't sell me just 2 tires. Had to be all 4. I went to the tire shop and bought 2.
