Works well to mash up those potatoes. No complaints. It's sturdy enough that I don't regret that it's not made out of metal.

I did not find that it mashed very well - maybe if you cooked to the point of mushy, but I like mine with skin on and this did not work well.

Great Price for a Potato Masher however I find that if the potatoes are very hot then the masher bends a bit so mashing a large amount of potatoes is difficult. I would recommend only mashing smaller amounts at a time.
