Great fan

Great fan, especially for the price- not to loud and good air flow. Only complaint would be the bright blue power light that shines when it's powered off, which I've taped over so I can sleep with it on (Solution culd be to unplug the thing I guess, but can't do that with a remote.)

A: OK, Here you go!! $60.00, you get what you pay for, it is a fan, not an A/C unit, we love it because it moves the stale air around, yes we hear it, but it does not interfere with any of our activities with the kids in the TV room. They asked what it was when they saw it, not when they heard it!, and now they don't even notice. ( it's not that loud unless it's on full. If you have it on full, you will be grateful for the air motion, and not care about the sound.

A: As this is a tower fan it is pulling the air from the bottom of the room, floor level. It is surprising how much cooler the temperature is at floor level in comparision to ceiling level. Remember, hot air rises........... It is not an air conditioner but it does have a cooling affect

Q: How do I open the remote to install battery? Garrison Oscillating Tower Fan Model no. 043-6169-2 I do not see it pictured. Mine is round and I cannot figure out how to open it.

A: Look on the back of the remote. there is cut away with the word "open". use your thumb to push that cover down towards the bottom of the remote. It should slide right off.

Q: Does this fan blow out slightly cool air? I have a small portable heater/fan unit and when I set it at fan, it actually blows out slightly cold air. I am wondering if this NOMA unit does the same.
