Q: Would you recommend this as a main source of Kitchen light? I am currently using a long fluorescent light thought yields yellow light. Thinking of changing to this design. Would it yield the same brightness in the room or just directional light ?

A: Thank you for your question. Yes you may indeed use this canopy light in your kitchen. It requires 4 GU10 bulbs with a max rating of 35w per bulb.

Q: Can this light fixture be mounted on the wall instead of the ceiling??

A: Technically there isn’t any reason why this fixture can not be mounted on a wall instead of the ceiling but due to the design of the fixture it is generally suited to ceilings and thus there is a label in the fixture stating “ceiling mount only”. But it would be safe and functional also mounted on a wall.

A: Yes it is dimmable. If using GU10 halogen bulbs use a regular dimmer. If using LED bulbs use a dimmer suitable for LED bulbs.
