Please Recall or Refund this Dehumidifier.

My sister purchased this dehumidifier not long ago. It's no longer working properly. Compressor seems to be the issue (coils are not cooling). With so many bad reviews, it's clear that there are issues and there should be a recall on this dehumidifier or at least in store credit. Do the right thing Canadian Tire, this is your house brand after all. It reflects poorly on you.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I've been running my machine daily for almost two years and it works incredibly well. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the basement is mind-boggling. I can only imagine the mold problem I'd have without it. My only problem at this point is needing to give it a deep clean because the unit is becoming moldy itself but that's not a fault of the machine, but my own for not keeping it clean.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Comme tout le monde à propos de ce très mauvais produit : code E9 après seulement 2 ans. Donc, et en dépit des explications évoquées par le commerçant, il ne fonctionne tout simplement plus. Et si comme moi vous ne trouvez plus la preuve d'achat, vous êtes pris avec. N'ACHETEZ PAS.

A: Auto Dry: The dehumidifier will operate in dry mode only, Auto fan speed is set automatically. The desired humidity is set to 50% automatically. Continuous: The dehumidifier will operate continously. The fan speed can be adjusted. The desired humidity cannot be adjusted. The LED display will show the room humidity level. This mode mostly be used in high humidity place such as laundry room or the place that want to keep very dry.

Q: Unit would cycle on every few minutes, removing little water. Didn't matter how high you set it. Is this normal? Didn't matter how high you set it. Removed water for the first few weeks then would remove very little but still cycle on and off quickly using a lot of electricity Was using around 4-5 kwh per day even when it wasn't removing much water.

A: The ideal humidity level should be around 50%. But if the ambient humidity level is low, little or no water would be collected. At this time of year in the winter, humidity would be too low to draw enough water into the tank. To observe if the unit is operating normally, select Continuous Run.
