Pure garbage
Last year, my boat battery was completely dead after having been plugged with one of these panels. So, I bought a new panel! Today, I went out and saw the blinking blue light flashing meaning nothing is connected! Result, for a second year in a row, my new battery is completely discharged. NEVER again this garbage.
Terrible direction's
Apparently does not work with lighter unless it has power when car turned off.
Had to read a competitors directions to figure that out.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Dans une de mes voitures ce système a brisé l’allume cigarette et dans l’autre voiture il a mis la batterie à plat...
This little solar panel kept my Motorhomes 12V cab battery alive last winter for 6 mos. in the harsh N. Okanagan,BC. Very happy and impressed! Now it’s that time once again to connect it and let it do its thing.

Q: I have tried to leave this plugged into my cigarette lighter 24 hrs a day but find the battery gets discharged when it is left plugged in over night. Is there a diode to prevent draining the battery and if so why is the battery getting discharged.

A: Are you certain your cigarette lighter is "live" power and doesn't require the key to be in the Accessory ON position?

Q: Is this safe to leave connected 24/7? I have a AGM battery bank, will this properly charge to 14.8v then provide a proper float charge? can I use multiple of these on the same bank and still be safe to maintain the bank when left connected 24/7?

A: I've used these chargers clipped to my boat batteries for a few years now. I make sure the batteries are charged before I set it up in the fall and leave them all winter exposed to the elements. I have them on a post mounted to the side of the trailer above the tire and flat against the hull facing west so they get the afternoon sun. So far the batteries have been charged and ready to go in the spring.

Q: Looking for a small charger...would this trickle charger be suitable to charge the battery in a Honda 3000 watt generator with a remote starter installed? It is sometimes left at the trailer (no service) for an extended period (weeks) without use.
1 Answer
A: This trickle charger's current is 0.138A and used for maintaining equipment. The voltage is 18V, so you need to make sure that the volts match the battery, i.e. the battery's volts should be 12V.

Q: Can this be connected to the car's OBD2 terminal, if so how?
1 Answer
A: Users will need a transfer adaptor to suit the car’s OBD terminal.
Please kindly note for the connector of 0110010 is J-plug. So one end of the transfer adaptor should suit J-plug and the other end should suit the Car's OBD terminal.

Q: The blue led light is flashing when the panel is connected to nothing! As soon As I connect wires to my battery, no more light!
Is it right? Should it be exact opposite?
1 Answer
A: First of all, the indicator light won't influence the panel's function. The flashed indicator is normal, because the cell and light are connected in parallel. It indicates that the panel works well.
The light will stop flashing under below 2 situations-
1. The battery's voltage is higher than the panel (also depending on the weather condition)
2. The battery is fully charged

Q: The unit has a blue LED on it, which sometimes flashes. What does that mean? The instruction booklet does not mention it. Also the booklet says it does need a charge controller, but the box infers there is one built in. What about small gel cell bats?

1 Answer
A: The LED will flash when it working, and this product actually do not need a controller
