Downgrade

Received this as a replacement for my previous Ninja Thirsti Max that only lasted 2 months before it stopped dispensing flavor. This machine is a major downgrade. It only has 12 or 24 oz , where as my previous machine dispensed 6, 12, 24, or 1L. This machine does not have an ice plunger to keep the ice at the bottom of the water tank like the last one. This machine, although advertised to dispense a mix of 2 flavors, does not. When attempting to mix 2 flavors, only seltzer water comes out… no flavor or color. Would not recommend the hassle or money.

Time will tell, but miss doing 6 ounce drinks

I had the previous model of the Thirsti and loved it. One thing that I miss on the new version is that I can't do 6 ounce drinks anymore. I would often only make 6 ounce beverages because I didn't need 12 ounces most of the time. Now the only options are 12 and 24 ounce. Time will tell whether or not this new version has any of the same issues of inconsistent (or completely ceasing) flavoring, but the lack of options for drink sizes knocks this down a peg for me.

Extreme Disappointment

First, if you've never owned a Thirsti system, this is a 4/5 for you. If you have owned a Thirsti, especially the MAX system, this is a huge disappointment! Normally, new systems are better with improved features. Not this guy! It's a step backwards. This is 2x louder than the MAX. It doesn't have the light under it and doesn't have the plunger on the lid of the water reservoir to quickly cool the water with ice. The biggest disappointment is that there are not 4 sizes like the MAX had - 6, 12, 18 and the tumbler. With the fruit chill flavors, the best mix was 6 oz with 2 flavor bursts plus 12 oz with 1 flavor burst. They clearly killed the MAX to sell more units under the guise of the new larger pods but the MAX can use them too.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great drink system and lots of good flavors.

We bought this a few weeks ago and it creates drinks very fast. Flavor pods are great, but some of them tend to leak inside the slot and it's quite a pain to clean up. The cost of the pods is pretty reasonable and cheaper than buying canned soda, less waste. The only thing this model doesn't have is the ice cube press, so the water takes longer to cool to the right temperature. The 12oz drinks take about 20 seconds to be ready and it's much more convenient than cleaning up bottles.

Wow! The Shark Ninja Thirsti Ultimate Drink System is top notch! It way better than the previous model. I know because I had it and always had issues with it not disbursing from the right side. This new ULTIMATE VERSION LOOKS futuristic, works faster, gives you 2 drink options, is a better style, sleeker, multi colors to choose from for your home style. Makes drinking water exciting!
