Bought this because of the ratings. There is NO spoon, lid rest, spoon rest with this. Cooked Stout and Chicken Thighs, added quartered mini potatoes on high for 5 hours. Recipe said 4 hours but spuds not done so more time. Instant read thermometer read 185*F after 5 hours and spuds still not done? Gave it away. Bought Crock Pot brand.

Q: We just bought this and the lid doesn’t fit securely (as our previous pots have) I am trying to figure out if it’s a defect or not. There is about 1/2 cm gap on one side or the other if the lid shifts.

A: According to our vendor, the slow cooker doesn’t have a strict standard on the gap between the lid and the inner pot because slow cooker has no requirement on airtightness during cooking. Their quality control on this is to ensure that there is no waggle of the lid while it being fitted into the slow cooker.

A: There is a Cook Mode Button to select Low, Medium, High or Warm. You can set the required amount of time by pressing the “Cook Time” Button. Each time you press the Cook Time Button the time will increase by 30 minutes, to a maximum of 10 hours. If you don’t press the Cook Time Button for 3 seconds the cooking time will be the time showing in the Display Window. Once the Cooking Time is finished, the unit will switch to “Warm.” The default time of the Warm cycle is 6 hours. Once the 6 hours has elapsed, the slow cooker automatically switches Off.
