Purchased this set for camping. The release squawk is so loud I think it could potentially disturb other campers so we don't use them much. They pick up a lot of interference and they are finicky about holding the talk button down a few seconds before and after using.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this radio compatable with the motorola T5000

A: Yes it is compatible. Please note that the T5000 is older and only operates on FRS channels (1-14). The new model MR560R operates on GMRS as well which adds channels 15-22. Therefore they will communicate on channels 1-14 only.
