I've had a pair for a couple years for auto work, and whatever. The ones I have are snug enough to allow good feel on things, and no loose areas to catch on things. They have protected the back of my hands from sharp edges. They are good gloves, I got another pair.

Don't buy them not for working on vehicles

Just got them today used them to work on a transmission and they get so slippery dropped a valve body and cost $500 these are complete junk gloves for working
