Would hand wash only

My sister had a baby during Covid so I got this after the 27 hours of labor she went through without me or my mother. Left it by her coffee maker in the house before they got home was truly a surprise for her. The unfortunate thing was after the 1st wash it completely ruined the writing whereas the Superdad one was perfect

The entire decal came off in the dishwasher

Every mass produced mug I've owned has been dishwasher safe - the decals on this one came off the first wash and now I have a plain white mug. I can't imagine it would hold up for very long even handwashing if it came off that easily.

No, I do not recommend this product.
