We bought these because we got a new puppy and worked great just the puppy didn't know how to use them. Lol we have used them to clean up the messes that the made off the pads and also for other things. Any mess that needs to soak up wetness. Even my car seat got wet and I was able to lay one down sit on it on the way to work and stayed dry. So not just for pets.
