poor product and service

I did not like the finish. I applied per instructions and it ended up looking like I had put varnish on it. I asked the manufacturer a question and they gave me a lame answer and then shut down the conversation so that I could not discuss further. You try the chat and you get this virtual assistant which is totally useless. I will not be useing this on the rest of my furniture and hope that what I did apply will eventually wear off. Not happy about this at all.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Sticky and Doesn't Absorb

This stuff is terrible. Thick and sticky - is doesn't absorb. It left a thick tacky coat on everything. This is very different than the other major brand teak oil - which absorbs great. If you have this problem, I wiped my whole table down with mineral spirits and that really helped.

Bad! I followed the instructions on the container and ended up with a tacky mess. The surface is rough and sticky. After 2 days it is still stick and rough. What can be done?

Not teak oil, teak varnish

Like others have stated. This should be labeled teak varnish. Will have to strip the chairs and table bare, again.

Disappointed!!!

I bought this “teak oil” and was disappointed!! Not what I wanted the finish is sticky and is more like a varnish than oil I truly do NOT recommend this product it really does NOT do as promised in the can. I would need to refinish again my teak rockers!
