Looks good and a decent size but there are better options.

Not waterproof, barely water resistant. The removable storage tray snaps into the lid. Rain easily makes its ‘ way right into the main box. Metal middle is riveted on and not water resistant either. Can’t use this on a job site.

Q: What is the maximum weight capacity for this? What weight are the hinges rated for?

A: I’m not sure about the max weight capacity but I can tell you that I’m a brick layer by trade and I have a lot of tools. I’ve had over 50lbs in it and had no problems other than getting up and down scaffolding, lol. It’s a very well built toolbox but as most toolboxes do, the hinges do give away if you’re not careful. Good luck and I hope this helps your decision on purchasing one.

Q: How deep is the tool box? What about the space between the underside of the tray and the bottom of the toolbox?

A: The inner depth of the tool box is 17 cm (6.69") and the space between the underside of the tray and the bottom of the toolbox is 55*22*13.5 cm (21.65" x 8.66" x 5.31").
