Q: The hose fitting does not connect to my new Canadian tire compressor....are there different sizes.....?

A: The fittings on the hybrid hose are a ¼” Universal coupler and a ¼” I/M plug. Depending on the coupler attached to the compressor, there may be a compatibility issue. There are 3 different types of plugs (T, I/M and A), which a universal coupler is made to accommodate all three of these styles. There is also a possibility that the plug is not pushed all the way into the coupler. You can ensure a proper fit by pulling back the coupler’s sleeve before inserting the plug. The coupler should almost click into place which ensures the connection is secure.

Q: Daily user? Does this air hose lay flat or semi-coil up? And is it durable against rugged cement?

A: The MAXIMUM 50-ft Hybrid Hose (0587723) is for the daily user and professional. In the package it comes coiled, but once you uncoil it is able to lay straight so it does not experience kinking or cumbersome maneuvering like many other hose materials. It can withstand being used on and exposed to rugged cement surfaces.
