Horrible new Design

I had the previous mastercraft maximum (the one with the big center release button) and after about 8 years it broke and when i got warranty this was the replacement. from brand new its never worked right and i've tried others with same complaint. While ratcheting the switch likes to catch and either switch to the opposite direction or jamb in the center and freewheel in both directions. Please bring back the stanley design!

Expensive but still a good value

This drive ratchet is very well made, much more like the larger 3/8 and 1/2 drive.. The forward reverse lever is robust and seems like it will last for years. Combined with the socket release this drive makes it easy to use in tight places and with greasy hands. It is very solid and the gearing of the ratchet is extremely solid, it is not flimsy by any account. It is also very comfortable in the hand. I am glad I spent the extra couple of bucks to get this drive.

Mécanisme et manche robuste mais poignée courte et peu confortable. Le sélecteur dont le fonctionnement est à l'inverse de la plupart des autres marques de clés s'avère difficile à manœuvrer avec les mains huileuses. L'immense tête de cette clé rend le travail difficile dans les endroits restreints. Décidément pas fait pour le travail professionnel. Cependant, les "mécaniciens du dimanche" y trouveront certainement leur compte. *Garantie exceptionnelle*
