Not meant to be cheaper than Brita

The person who gave it a 1-star rating for not being worth the $3 savings has missed the point entirely. This is a superior filter to the more expensive Brita filters. A better screen keeps the floating black bits out, silver in the filtering media acts as a non-toxic antibacterial agent, and these are good to go from the bag without presoaking.
