Fixed strobe issue
The flashlight wouldn't turn on with one click. I would have to hold have to hold power button on (flash strobe).
Removed the head and cleaned the shiny brass coloured connector. Then tighten the plastic retaining ring with a pin until snug.
Hopefully this helps with maintence of the flashlight.

Not a recommended purchase!

We bough 3 for a special activity, and 2 just broke around the same time right after the one year warranty expired. Both are stuck on stroboscopic mode, and one also has a broken switch (no click). I guess they'll serve as organ donors for the 3rd flashlight we still have, provinding it doesn't develop the same problems!

Bought this flashlight last week and worked great in the beginning but now seems to have discharged and does not seem like the charging tip will go far enough into the port to recharge. Like others seems to now be stuck on the strobe mode but maybe thats a low charge issue.

Q: how do you change the light mode (ie. not strobe)?
can only seem to get the strobe light function and must keep the button depressed to keep this on. Is this normal?

A: This also happens if the battery is running low... The light is turning on, then realizes that it is undervolt and shuts off again. But since you are holding the button it keeps trying to turn back on...
Be sure to charge it a full 8 hours before you first use it.

Q: How do I turn the light on when not plugged in?
The switch at the end only works when the unit is unplugged, but the light does not come on until the adapter is plugged in. If the adapter is plugged in the light may be on but it can not be turned off until the adapter is unplugged.

A: This is the problem I'm having with my version of these lights. I bought three of them, and ONE works - the other two will light up when plugged into the charger, but they DO NOT WORK when you disconnect them from the charger.
I let them charge long enough the first day, and the bulbs DO work because they light up when attached to the charger, but the fact that multiple copies of this light are having a problem indicates a DESIGN PROBLEM.
(And for clarification - the problem I'm having is if I plug the light into the charger, the light MAY work, but nothing happens if I hit the on/off button. BUT, if I hit the on/off button after I disconnect from the charger, then when I connect to the charger, the light will cycle to on if it was off, and off it was on. (I hope that description makes sense.) )

Q: Is there any way to tell whether the flashlight is fully charged or not before 8 hours is up? There is no charge indicator on the flashlight.
1 Answer
A: Sorry, this flashlight doesn’t have charging indicator light. Currently, customer only can determine whether it is fully charged by its charge time. It needs 8 hour fully charged before its first use. After that, how long does it need to be fully charge it depends on how much battery reserve it has.

Q: How do I replace the battery for it . And where can I get one.
1 Answer
A: This is a rechargeable flashlight with Li-ion battery. Normally we do not need to replace the battery. But if you want to replace it, please follow below instructions :
1.Unscrew the back cap and take out the old 18650 Li-ion battery.
2. Insert new 18650 Li-ion battery.
3.Reattach back and tighten.
You can purchase 18650 li-ion battery in local stores or online as we do not sell it.
