    High Price for Little Performance

Huge case for very little heat. Heaters costing much less and smaller produce much more heat. If you want something to just look like a heater, then this is the one for you. I have bought several microfurnaces of a variety of manufactures for around $20 and they all work great.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    looks are deceiving

Based on the size I thought this bad boy would churn out the heat. I had visions of having to turn it down. Unfortunately it was hard at times to determine if in fact the fan was working as the output was so low. Very little heat even with the fan/heat heat switched on high. I have had smaller space heaters that put out twice as much heat. I believe that my in car heater has a higher fan and heat output. Would never buy another one. Very disappointing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Poor quality heater

I have had this heater for a little while. Just recently it died on me and I have no idea what happened, just doesn't work anymore. Don't be fooled by the 10 yr warranty. Canadian Tire only covers it for 1 year and then you are left to chase down the original manufacturer if somethign happens outside of that 1 yr period. When you put it in a room that is already heated, like central air or a wood fired cottage it does help to heat the area. For colder places, like garages in the winter, my reason for buying it, the heater does not even come close to providing an warmth.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    18 Months and Still Going

I bought this unit about 18 mos ago, I have a 18' x 20' insulated garage that I use this unit in. I do a lot of wood working, car work and detailing in my garage and wanted to be able to use my garage more comfortably in the winter time. One of these units will keep my garage above freezing which is great so I don't have to worry about my car products freezing. I've left it on 24x7 but using the temp control to have it only kick in often enough to keep it at a set temperature, when I'm working in the garage I turn the temp up. If it's -30 outside, it won't heat the garage up to +10 obviously, but I'm considering adding a second unit because this one has worked so well and has also lasted over the long term.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    1 Answer

    Translate with Google
    1 Answer

    Translate with Google
    1 Answer

Q: how much energy does this use (at max?)? kwh? kwh? thank you.

    1 Answer
    • A: 1 KWH = 1000 W/H This unit at max is 1,500 Watt. Not knowing how many hours you would use this, I am not able to provide you with an exact number. However, you can use the following formula : 1,500 max Watts X number of hours you would run it for in a day = (?) Take that answer (?) and multiply it by 31 (number of days in a month) = You then take that last answer and divide it by 1,000 (W/H) = which will give you the KWH it would use.
