Screams like a banshee and chuck released

Drill was never previously used.
Presented as a gift to me.
Drilled about 40 (forty) 1/2 in holes in cedar posts.
The machine screamed like a banshee , would not select from drill to hammer, and finally the chuck slipped off the motor's spindle and could not be repaired on site.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Needed a new drill and bought this one after seeing it advertised on sale in the weekly flyer. Much better than my old drill and has a hammer drill option which is a bonus. I would definitely buy again.

-Drilled about 50 - 3/8 x 4" holes in concrete, worked well.
- Rubber chuck key holder isn't much of a feature.
- Included bits were a very good bonus.
- Have recommended it to a friend.
