I've had this chest for a few years now. I bought one of the 400ish piece socket/wrench sets that came in trays and put it inside. It's is fairly sturdy, i've lifted the whole thing full no problems. The paint seems to resist dents and scratches pretty good. The rollers also slide well after a few years of weekly use and no maintenance. The only problem I've had is that if you close the lid hard then it slides over the front and gets stuck but you just have to push up a little harder and it pops free. The lock works well for me as well. Overall its a pretty good and sturdy product that will be more than enough for any home mechanic. For the half price cost its a good deal.

Bought this and the base cabinent for half off. I have to say I feel it is a good buy. It was packaged very well and was free of any dings or damage. It looks great and will definetly do the job for me. I am not a professional mechanic.

A: Unfortunately, we do not offer a touch up paint for these because the paint that is used on the tool boxes is powder coated on and what would be available in a bottle just would not match up.

Q: I have 5 drawer ball bearing tool cabinet blue ( ctc product # 58-0822-8). will this chest sit on top of the the tool box? also why is there no matching chest ctc product # 58-0822-8 ? my drawers are sliver.

A: Unfortunately, no it will not. The 58-0822 was a 26” 5 drawer cabinet with dimensions of 26.7x18.2x38.5inch (W x D x H). The 58-0967 a 30” 5 drawer chest with dimensions of 30 x 16 x 20.9 (W x D x H)
