Product Details

The Mastercraft Grade 1A Aluminum Multi-Task Ladder is a versatile, heavy-duty ladder built to support up to 300 lbs, making it ideal for both professional and home use. With a maximum reach of 25-ft, this ladder is designed for various tasks, from painting to construction. Its durable aluminum construction is lightweight yet sturdy, while the multi-position design allows it to be used as an extension, step, or scaffold ladder.

  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor tasks

  • Design allows use in 4 different positions: twin stepladder, extension ladder, stairway stepladder and as 2 scaffold bases

  • Once in position can adjust up to 44 possible configurations in 1' (0.3 m) increment height adjustment

  • Reinforced joints add stability and strength

  • Extension ladder adjusts to the exact height required

  • Stairway ladder features multiple positions, and is good for uneven ground

  • Scaffold position uses multiple working heights, and separates into 2 scaffold bases

  • Designed with a wide base for added stability and a heavy-duty aluminum construction

  • Portable and compact for easy storage

  • Positive safety locking mechanism ensures safe use

  • CSA Grade 1A

  • Weight Capacity: 300 lb (136 kg)

  • Size: 25' (7.6 m)

  • Ladder Weight: 55.25 lb

  • Note: The market practice on multi-task ladders is to identify them by the equivalent reach height of an extension ladder. On full extension mode overlap is required, but the ladder will allow you to reach 25' (assumes a 5'6" individual with a vertical 12" reach).

Overall 4 stars.

Overall very sturdy and great length. Would be four stars, but there are some things I think could be improved. The folding lock at the top could have an easier to use design and some of the supports make it difficult to smoothly put the ladder up and down without some awkward movements to protect your fingers.

Great, Useful But heavy

It is a very useful ladder BUT it is heavy. I have used it in multiple configurations and like what I can do with it but as an older guy it is definitely not easy to handle without help. Make certain you are up to it before you buy one

This is a great ladder. It is very sturdy but it has one problem. The ladder is very heavy. When you need to move the ladder when it is fully extended its very difficult to balance.

Q: When assembled into a “A” shape step ladder, what is the height?  I need to reach the peak of a 15ft cathedral ceiling. There are no surrounding walls to support it as a straight extended ladder. Or is there another item you recommend?

  • A: The top of the ladder in an "A" shape is 11 feet in height, but + your body height (5-6ft) and + your arms reach length (1-2ft) = 17-20 feet. I bought this ladder to change some very high ceiling fan light bulbs (probably 15ft). and it was a breeze and very secure. the locking tabs on this are massive, and not fragile in any way. As always be safe, inspect all the pre-assembled bolts, rivets, on this ready to go ladder, and use it on it's lowest setting at first to familiarize yourself.

  • A: It weights as much a large sack of potatoes, but with it's shape being similar to a single-size mattress it just sways a bit if you're carrying it yourself. I'm 157lbs, don't hit the gym, but generally fit, and moved this on my own.

Q: What is the ladder's storage dimension? Can I bring it home in an SUV?

  • A: It fit in the trunk / rear seat area of my 2015 Camry, with the trunk fully closed. Thankfully it only comes in a thin plastic wrap, and it fit longitudinally in the trunk of my 2015 Camry with the trunk fully closed! The bottom-part of the rear seats on all sedans or coupes I've seen pop up if you simply lift them up, which allowed the back-part of the rear seats to fold more flat, which allowed this ladder to sit flush in the trunk/rear seat area with the trunk fully closed.
