Q: Does the 20V Yardworks battery work with Mastercraft tools like this one?
4 years agoA: It does not work with the Yardworks battery. I looked at the first answer but it didn't work. I bought this item and tried my Yardworks battery and they are not compatible- only the Mastercraft battery line works and they are very expensive. So between the tool and the battery, it gets close to $200. ahve no idea why CT has incompatible parallel battery lines.

Q: Am I correct in assuming this does not come with a 12 volt cigarette lighter plug as an alternate power source as it is not expressly mentioned in the desc? Looks exactly the same as two other products that have 12 volt backups. TY.
4 years agoA: No it does not come with 12 volt lighter plug.it is not twelve volt.It requires a 20 volt battery same as the blue mastercraft drill.
