Not 100% happy with purchase

I’ve got 2 issues with this griddle since purchasing it. First is temperature. The grill gets hotter near the temp control plug than at the opposite end. Second is the small square drip cup has cracked twice! I’ve had to super glue it back together. Made of flimsy plastic. I replaced an older grill with this one and am not 100% happy with my choice.
No, I do not recommend this product.
