Good sizes and seems to cut everything with ease - did my raw beef no problems and just about as good a job with tomatoes (need to use the tip to pierce the skin, whereas another cheap knife that I bought at the (grocery store? dollar store?) seems to cut through straight away.) The covers are perfect, to not need a knife block clutteirng up my limited counter space - can put everything in the drawer. Are colour-coded to match the handles, so quick to find the right knife and to match up the knife to the correct handle.
