I can cool off lots of stuff now!

We used to own a water cooler, but that was just a one trick pony and only kept cold water. Then there is the 5 gallon water jug. With this ice cube maker, we can cool off endless items. It says it will make small and large ice cubes. I can't say that I see much difference between the two of the sizes, so I left it to the large size. So far I haven't bagged any ice, but summer is coming and it will be nice to be able to avoid that trip to the garage to buy a bag of ice.

The difference between the 2 size ice cube settings is the larger setting has a slightly longer cycle to allow more ice to accumulate on the evaporator fingers.
To make firmer/larger/drier ice, use colder water. Tip, let the first couple of batches of ice fall into the water reservoir to chill the water.

A: Yes. You just leave the ice in it. Some will eventually melt and then it just goes through the cycle again of making new ice. I love it. One of the best summer purchases k e made.
