  • A: CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK (see attached picture below) 1. Place the battery (1) in a dry location near a 120 V 60 Hz electrical outlet (see Fig. 1) 2. Place the charger base (2) over the matching slots (3) of the battery. NOTE: Make sure the charger stand is pressed fully onto the battery until the battery latches (4) “click” into place. 3. Insert small charger plug (5) into charger stand receptacle (6) and plug the battery charger (7) into the 120 V 60 Hz wall receptacle. NOTE: a) The green indicator light (8) will turn ON indicating the charger is “live”. b) The red indicator light (9) will come ON when the battery pack is properly inserted into the charger stand. c) If red indicator light does not come ON, check to make sure battery pack is inserted fully into the charger and the electrical outlet is working properly. NOTES: a) A new battery pack or one that is completely run down should be charged for 4 hours. After normal use, a battery pack should be fully charged in about 3 hours. b) Do NOT leave the charger plugged in for longer than 4 hours. The battery will be fully charged within 4 hours. Leaving the charger plugged in for longer than 4 hours may damage the battery and void the warranty. c) It is normal for the battery charger to hum and be warm to the touch during operation. d) If the battery pack does not charge properly, check to make sure the electrical outlet is “live”. e) The battery pack should only be charged in an area where the temperature is between 0–45°C (32–113°F). **Should you require further assistance, please contact JobMate at 1-866-562-6283.
