Great sound-doesn't connect to my JBL Xtreme2

I absolutely love this speaker, however I did not read carefully that my other two JBL speakers (JBL Xtreme2). I have a very large pool area and my thought was the two JBL xtreme2 speakers would be in areas of "background" music and the party box would be the main loud speaker. As for the sound-this speaker amazing.

This thing is awesome. I love it! JBL has never let me down on any audio product that I own. I’ve got everything from shelf speakers to ear buds, multiple charge 4s & of course this JBL 100 party box. It actually puts out 160 watts of power and it’s plenty for indoor/ outdoor party’s etc. Hell I even throw it in the back of the suv every once in a while & people think I have a system. It’s fantastic & definitely worth every penny. JBL just does it better than practically every other brand in my opinion for a fair price. And Ive been a musician since I could walk so audio is my life. Yeah if you want to pay double for Klipsch or Bose & end up with the same sound quality go ahead but I’m sticking with JBL.

A: Also consider that unless you know either the Watts or the operating Voltage, the MaH number means little. The Partybox 100 runs on 14,8 volts. While you can make some rule of thumb capacity comparisons using MaH, it would have to be at the same voltage and Watt load. The speaker actually has 4 times the power capacity of your phone at minimum, assuming many things are the same, and they are not. So it should take 4times as long to charge. Be happy with 5 hours. Q: When charging my partybox 100 whilst playing it, is power taken straight from the cable to the drivers, or does it charge the battery as the battery powers the drivers? Many thanks.

Q: I have JBL 100 that is a little over a year old. the orange power light is lit but will not power on, will not show it is charging, will not connect to bluetooth and will not play music.

A: I held down the power for about 10 seconds. It finally shut off. The stayed off for another few seconds then the bow powered up like normal.

A: Our JBL PartyBox 100 speakers can play in stereo in TWS mode with a distance of 10 meters, making sure that there is a clear line of sight between both speakers and the Bluetooth enabled source for optimal results.

A: Bonjour, Je viens d'acheter une deuxième JBL Partybox 100 et contrairement à ce que dit Franck de la team JBL, les deux enceintes connectés en mode TWS fonctionnement parfaitement en stéréo (et non en double mono). Test à l'appui. Le son est du coup beaucoup plus enveloppant. C'est TOP ! Dommage de ne pas donner la bonne information !

A: Bonjour, la PartyBox 100 détecte un signal entrant afin de se maintenir sous tension, lors d'une connexion filaire à une source audio, si celle-ci n'a pas assez de volume entrant, il est je pense possible qu'elle considéré l'entrée comme muette. Essayez en augmentant le volume de la source d'entrée (téléviseur) et de réduire le volume de l'enceinte JBL, moins pratique pour ajuster le volume à distance, mais peut être une solution, cordialement, Yohann

Q: Can a DJ controller work with this? I notice there is only AUX in and out on the back of this speaker.

A: I have used DJ Controllers with this speaker just fine, you will need an appropriate cable. I used an RCA to 3.5mm stereo cable from the Main Out on the DJ Controller. Note that DJ Controllers generally can add significantly more gain to an audio signal than consumer devices and so you would need to exercise caution in not sending excessively clipped signals to he speaker as this could damage the speaker - it is unlikely this speaker as any clip protection built-in.
