Q: Will this connect to my Extreme 3 with PartyBoost? The features list on this page says "JBL PartyBoost - Yes" but I've read online that Auracast speakers are (annoyingly) not backwards compatible. Which is it?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Flip 7 does not float. However, it designed to be waterproof and dustproof. It has a rating of IP68 making it dustproof and immersible for up to 1.5m of water for 30 minutes.

A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Flip 7 supports lossless audio playback through its USB-C port when connected to a compatible device (such as a laptop or another audio source that supports digital audio output). This allows the speaker to play lossless audio when using a direct USB-C digital connection. However, our Flip 7 does not support analog audio input. This means a USB-C to 3.5mm AUX cable will not work, and it will receive audio from older devices like MP3 players.
