This pump works its magic by circulating water out of the pool, through a filter and back again. With everything you need to keep your pool water pristine, this Bestway pump kit is a must-have! The 3,028 L (800 gal.) Bestway Filter Pump is recommended for use with 1,100-17,400 L (300-4,600 gallons) pools and works perfectly with Type III-A/C filter cartridges. Put the fun in functional with the Bestway 3,028 L (800 gal.) Filter Pump - which is compatible with almost all above ground pools, no matter the brand.
Cleans pool water at 3,028 L/h (800 gal./h) for fast, efficient filtration.
Designed for above-ground pools from 1,100-17,400 L (300-4,600 gallons)
Uses Type III-A/C filter cartridges.
Compatible with 3.8 cm (1.5 in.) threaded valves and 3.2 cm (1.25 in.) valves with included adapters.
Clean or replace the filter cartridge every 2 weeks for best results.
Circulates water through the filter to capture debris.
Includes pump, cartridge, adapters and 25ft. (7.6m) power cord.

Replaced my old swimming pool pump.

Quite simply and to the point, this pool pump is literally 'plug and play.'
It's a complete unit that needs only to be hooked up to the piping from your pool and plugged into a power outlet. The only thing that's left to do is to enjoy your pool.

A: Purchased this to replace a Summer Waves 800 gph from my 12’ steel frame pool. Connected to the 1-1/4” inlet same as the original pump. The outlet hose includes an adaptor to connect the 1-1/2” to the pools original outlet size 1-1/4”. Pump is working well. Much quieter than original pump. Plus uses the same size filter as the old pump. I still have a few left over from last season so I’m good now for the summer. Hoping that the extra expense pays off and I won’t need to get another new pump for several years.

Q: Does this pump have a chlorinator feature, can i put chlorine in with the filter?

Q: How can you clean the filter ? There is no lock to stop the water from pouring

A: I lift the pump above the water line of the pool. Remove the filter, clean and reinstall. Once that's done place it back down and bleed it. I plan on adding isolation valves next year to avoid having to do this everytime.

Q: We just got our pool last year. It was used for a few months and then stored for the winter. It doesn’t seem to be working now. It’s not pumping the water back up and out. Is there a warranty? Any suggestions to get it working better?

A: I can’t help you on why it’s not working, but I also bought this pump and hoses set last year and the hoses started springing pinhole leaks no less than a month. Very disappointing! I would NOT recommend buying.
