Had a few issues at delivery but Love the safe

I needed a larger and a tougher safe, purchaced this one and it's perfect! had some issues at first, it locked and I could not open it again! managed to look on youtube and find the solution, in the move some bolt got losend I grabed a hamer and a piece of 2X4 and placed it where the video instructed me and gave 2 good hits on the 2X4 and the lock ''unjamed'' and I manage to open the safe with the keypad. I opened the inside panel and tightened the bolt and since then it worked like a charm!

Not Worth It

Safe was malfunctioning when I got it. Emailed Stack-On (manufacturer of safe), and they had me take the door apart to find a pinched wire on the keypad. This was pinched from poor assembly. While I was back there basically rewiring my new safe, I noticed how poorly it was made. Some nuts were not even fastened, and the parts were very floppy and not secure. I can tell that the manufacturer is paying employees by the unit not the hour. Spend the money and get a Liberty safe, rather than live with a 600lb regret in your basement,

High quality but too heavy duty

This thing is gigantic and incredibly heavy. It looks awesome and is well built, but do not expect it to fit nicely in your home, and do not expect it to get in easily. The weight is almost a little over board. It has dented the floor just from the weight. If you’re looking for something that makes it look like you have a bank vault in your house, and you have multiple people to help you move it, this is the cabinet for you.

The safe is a Stack-on total defense, product is well made, but measurements that CDN tire put on here is incorrect, off the box itself 29.25" wide, 25.5" deep, 59" tall, also fire rating is incorrect rated at 75mins at 1400 degree F., Weight of the safe 570lbs

A: 29.25" wide, 25.5" deep, 59" tall. The one Canadian Tire gave is for the box. The ones I gave are the external dimensions for the safe itself

Q: Since it's a rebranded Stack-On Total Defense safe, does it have the electrical socket installed as well?

A: Yes it has the outlet inside and cmes with the power cord for outside of the safe and includes a 3 plug tap to give you three outlets inside.

Q: Does the door remove for installation ease? Since the safe weight is 570 lbs, if the door is removable then it would be easier to install and move into locations as two separate components.
