My husband purchased the Horizon CE4.4 at the beginning of January when it was on sale and we've been both impressed with the responsiveness of the company and happy with the elliptical.
The responsiveness comes from the installation phase. There was one bolt that was particularly snug and we were worried about stripping it if we tightened it further. I emailed the company, and we had a replacement mailed to us in days at no cost. (A+ response Horizon - thank you#
For the elliptical itself:
- I tend to stick to the 1st level of resistance, focussing more on trying to improve my overall distance or speed. It still feels like a significant workout to me and I'm able to work up a sweat without suffering any after effect soreness or stiffness. The pedals are closely spaced enough that the movement feels natural. # A bit more like a jog than walk#.
- My husband and sons use the higher levels of resistance, and can get a challenging workout done in considerably less time.
- There is a display panel where you can track heart rate #if you put your hands on the monitor), speed, distance, time and approx. calories burned
- at the bottom of this is a slight lip where the horizon logo is situated that is perfect for holding a tablet in place.
Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Grosse erreur sur le site web. Parmi les 2 images qu'on voit. Se sont deux modèles différents. Celui qu'on voit au complet et les 4.4 et celle où on voit seulement le panneau contrôle c'est le 4.3. Le panneau du 4.4 est moins complet que le 4.3. Moins de touches raccourcis, écran plus petit et pas de ventilateur. Alors avec le 4.4, on est obligé de faire défiler le menu avec une touche. Pas évident des fois en plein exercice. De plus en magasin (st-georges de beauce). C'est le 4.3 qui est monté en démonstrateur et le 4.4 vendu dans les boîtes neuves. Le mécanisme est le même, mais qu'elle déception une fois le montage fini, car le panneau est monté en dernier et emballé de façon à ce qu'on ne puisse pas faire la différence non plus. Heureusement acheté en spécial.

Q: Horizon E (Elite) 4.3 and CE 4.3 There is another model E 4.3 (Elite). What's the difference between E 4.3 and CE 4.3? Are they identical?

A: These models are not the same unit. The CE4.3 has an upgraded console that has a fan and speakers and additional programs beyond those of the 4.3E. the 4.3E was produced beginning in 2007 and is no longer in production as well.

Q: Difference between Horizon Elliptical CE 4.3 and Ce 4.4 I purchased Horizon CE 4.4 from Canadian Tire but delivered Horizon Elliptical CE 4.3. They says these are same product. Please confirm whether they are same product ? And why they have different description if they are same product number ?

A: The two items are not identical. The CE4.3 is a different frame style than the CE4.4 and the console on the CE4.3 has a fan and the CE4.4 does not. Otherwise, all other major specifications are the same between the two models.

A: The CE5.2 does not use batteries, it has a power cord which powers the console. Refer to pages 4 and 5 of the below link for power cord placement. A: The frame is the same on the CE4.1 and CE4.3. The difference with the two products come in the console. The console on the CE4.3 has the following upgrades over the CE4.1. Speakers w/ iPod/mp3 connectivity, COOLfit™ fitness fan, 3 additional programs, and upgraded backlit LCD display.
