Once mixed with water, the solution is very foamy. However, my carpet came out looking very clean and bright after using the solution and letting it dry.

I used the Hoover clean plus detergent to shampoo all the carpet in our home immediately after we had them professionally cleaned. I couldn't believe how much dirt I was able to pull out of the carpet! I naturally assumed a commercial cleaning did a great job but was pleased to see with the right detergent,we can do a better job with our own carpet cleaner!

Q: What will get liquid dish soap out of carpet?

A: Hi Ronald, Cleaning up liquid dish soap spills can be a real headache. I would first check the carpet manufactures cleaning instructions. For manually cleaning try a damp cloth and gently blot the area. For machine cleaning, try a Hoover Portable Spot Cleaner or an Hoover Upright Deep Cleaner; both are effective at extracting various messes out of carpet. It may take some time to remove all of the soap, depending on how much remains in the carpet. I hope it all works out for you, Good luck.
