Henckels knife Sharpener

Perhaps it's me, but I've never had a lot of success with these types of knife sharpeners. This is the 2nd one I've used. Instructions are easy and it certainly isn't difficult to use so I'm confident I am using it correctly however, the results just don't seem to be there.

Poor substitute for whetstone or steels

Does not sharpen as intended. Instructions clear but drawing knives through product doesn’t produce a sharp edge.
No, I do not recommend this product.
