I bought this and did not check the height. I assumed it was useable height The thing is 22 inches from the ground...bahahahaha. Sooooo, if you are working on your knees or 1.7 years old this is great, I guess.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Very stable set of legs. I had one for my chop saw (obviously with a wood top affixed) When they came on sale I bought a second for use as a portable table for my outdoor home projects .

    Yes, I recommend this product.

It was easy to assembly, though it was short of 40 nuts and bolts. It is sturdy. The mounting holes don't fit my saw, though it is Mastercraft. In spite of that I am satisfied.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I have 4 of these benches and use them regularly as a bench to cut plywood, to assemble projects, as a thickness planer bench, an out feed bench for my table saw, you name it. The legs can adjust to a number of permanent (convenient) heights. With plywood or hardboard top these benches are very sturdy and can withstand very heavy loads. They have been in my shop for 20+ years and I wouldn't be without them. I recommend these benches to anyone who is looking for a sturdy bench.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    • A: Maybe an older version is but the one I bought today (Oct 2013) certainly isn't adjustable other than McGuyvering some sort of platform to stand it on

Q: attaching top to base Hello, any suggestions (ie screws, bolts) to attach 3/8 plywood to top of base?

    • A: I used 4x ~1/4" inch diameter bolts of a length of just over 1" . Didn't use any washers as carefully drilled correct size holes but if holes a bit big, maybe add a washer on the top for each. No reason not to upgrade to a bigger diameter bolt if you wish depending on your application. I guess anything longer than about 1 1/2" length might stick down a bit far but if you are like me, you dig in your cabinet for bolts and if they work without buying new ones, you make do even if they seem a bit excessive!l the holes in the metal frame can certainly handle a bit bigger diameter.

Q: top surface area & weight capacity

    2 Answers
    • A: Not sure of weight capacity but upper surface area is 18"x 19" to edges of metal. I put a slightly larger top that is 18x24 made of 3/4" plywood on it and will bolt my tool to the center and will allow a bit more surface area. With top bolted on via the four bolt holes (you supply your own bolts) it seems very sturdy. I would be surprised if it couldn't easily handle 100lbs or more but can't say I've test that as I don't need that much weight for my application.

    • A: The outside of the top measures 18" x 19". Height is not very tall at just over 22". Likely will be short for typical tabletop tools like a saw.
