Works as advertised.

Needed to replace an older version of this as the pulleys had given out. This version the colour is quite nice, better than grey, and the action is very smooth. Worried about the vinyl wheels on this as opposed to the metal on the old version, but only time will tell. Took about 5 minutes to put up and everything connected perfectly. Good experience overall.

A: Should say 48 inches - the height of the 'up and down' distance.

Q: How much weight is this rated for? In other words, how many pounds / kilos of laundry will this support?

A: Normally, a laundry load would be fine, but anything more precise, is impossible for us to determine. It is not the weight that damages the clothesline, it’s the wind and weather conditions.

Q: Will this work if the clothesline extends perpendicular to the elevator pole? Or will it only work properly if the clothesline extends straight out?
