Cooker is nice but…

I bought this cooker after looking at several . I specifically asked if the cooker could be programmed to start later in the day while I am at work and was told absolutely. But you can’t . I tried to plug it in to a timer but the cooker won’t start until the timer reaches the time you want it to start. I am gone 10 hours a day. I don’t want to start it. At 6:30 in the morning and have it sitting on warm for 3-5 hours.

Lid doesn’t seat well

First time using the cooker and I am not thrilled that the lid does not seat fully on the pot. Hoping my roast will cook fully and not spatter all over the counter.

Problem with rubber pads on the bottom

Nine months after purchasing this crock pot, one of the rubber pads on the bottom fell off. I have not been able to find it in anywhere. All the others are attached firmly, but this part is not part of the five year warranty I am told. I was told by Hamilton Beach to find something in a hardware store to keep the unit level. This is quite disappointing.

No, I do not recommend this product.
