[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used GrowTrax late last summer on a large area of the yard where we had septic work done. It was super easy to rollout and water for several weeks. The grass came in great, but it was late fall by then. Now, this spring it came up even better and looks fabulous. Pretty impressed.

1st 2 weeks UNSUCCESSFUL; HOPING FOR GOOD NEWS!

2 weeks into this project and the results are not good! I invested a lot of money in the growth Trax hoping to have the beautiful lawn you advertised; as of this date we have not had any success. I will wait the 30 days before I request a refund; we have pictures when we started tge project, now 2 weeks later and will have tge remaining 2 weeks. I hope for success, I really do! We've spent a lot of manual hours following the guidelines you advised, we are hoping for the results you promised

Thank you for your feedback! At the 2-week mark, you are still within the normal germination window. The first 2 weeks after GrowTrax is laid is when germination occurs, with small blades typically appearing in 7–14 days (or 7–21 days for Bermuda varieties). By 3–4 weeks, grass should reach about 3” tall and be ready for its first mow.
Like any grass or plant, it needs time to grow—please be patient, as it is a living thing. That being said growth can also vary based on factors like sunlight, watering, temperatures, and soil health.

Love, Love, Love the Fescue Mix

We had a very hard time getting grass to grow in our back yard due to shaded areas and leaves falling etc. My back yard is about 4400 square feet. We decided to try the Tall Fescue Mix so we would have green grass year round. It was amazing!!! We kept it watered and saw grass sprouting in no time. By the 6th week we had a lush green lawn in places where we never thought we would ever see grass. Love Love Love my back yard! I highly recommend this product!!

A: According to Growtrax, It is safe for pets because it`s real grass. They recommend keeping pets off the Grotrax until the grass has grown 3 inches. If pets will be outside, they recommend sectioning off an area for Grotrax and an area for pets to play and do their business.

Q: I have a front lawn full of dandelions and clover weeds, can I put this stuff over top of a lawn like that and will it still grow over top of the weeds?

A: No it will not. This is used just like grass seed. You need a covering of lawn soil or top soil put down first and then lay this over top of the soil and keep it wet. But if you do not take out the weeds first they will come back and probably stop the grass from being able to start properly.
