Charging Instructions: Use Only a Dedicated 82V Charger. The 82V battery must be charged with a compatible Greenworks 82V charger, such as the Greenworks GC400 Charger or the Greenworks 82CH62K 6-Port Charger. 82V batteries are not cross-compatible with other Greenworks voltage platforms. 1. Insert the Battery 2. Slide the battery firmly into the charger until it clicks into place. 3. Monitor the LED Indicator: Flashing Green Light – Battery is charging. Solid Green Light – Battery is fully charged. Charging Temperature Range: For optimal performance and battery longevity, charge the battery in an environment between 5°C and 40°C (41°F–104°F). Remove After Charging. The charger does not have a trickle-charge function. Once the indicator shows solid green, remove the battery from the charger. Recommend Troubleshooting Steps: Flashing Red Light: A blinking red LED indicates a fault condition such as: Battery too hot / Poor connection / Temporary charging error. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place.
