Worked great for spider outbreak

I woke up to a nightmare the other day, spiders all over the ceiling and starting to swing down toward the bed. They had got in through the air conditioner and were accumulating around the ceiling. I picked up a can of this and misted the area and saw them drop dead while I was using it. The smell is very pleasant but I didn't take any chances, went out for a few hours and came home. There was about 3 spiders left that had avoided the spray, I sprayed those. Since then, no spiders at all. That was a quick and painless experience. Also, the stuff didn't bother my husband when he went in the room later, which was nothing short of a a miracle because he suffers from extreme sensitivity to chemical products; we have to use organic and hypoallergenic household cleaners. So this really was an A+ product and saved us from a terrible ordeal.

Best to use a fly swatter for roaches

It says it can kill cockroaches with a direct hit. I sprayed a cockroach directly for ages. I slowed it down but I was still running after it for 5 minutes. I think my brain felt fuzzy after the spray. Anyway, it only died after I smashed it. It might be good for smaller, less resistant bugs (like fleas) though.

DOES NOT KILL BED BUGS

We have had some bed bug issues in my apartment. We bought this product.. sprayed it around and the next day I saw a bed bug.. We decided to spray this product on it and found out that bed bugs are resistant to it. It looked like it was dead and when we stop spraying and watched it for a few minutes.. it started moving around.
This product may work for other insects but not bed bugs.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will it kill fleas after just spraying my apartment once? If not, how many times do i have to spray and in what interval?

A: Green Earth Homecare Flying & Crawling Insect Killer will kill fleas on contact, but as this product does not have any residual action it will not affect any new fleas that hatch, nor can it or any insecticide kill the eggs. A better choice would be CIL Flea Killer Surface Spray (042-5365-2). This spray will also kill the fleas on contact, plus it contains "Nylar" an insect growth regulator that prevents the nymphs from maturing to the adult stage (biting stage), for up to 6 months. It should always be used in conjunction with a site sanitation, through vacuuming, steam cleaning rugs, and treating your pet with a registered animal flea control product recommended by your veterinarian, prior to applying the product.

Q: Is it okay to use this product near a furnace? Some spray cans cannot be used near furnaces because they are potentially explosive. The can does not mention a warning about it, while some others do. I would like to know if I can use them near it because of my bug problem.

A: Green Earth Homecare Flying and Crawling Insect Killer does contain a propellant that is flammable, therefore the spray should never be aim towards an open flame, or store in an area with excessive heat.

Q: Can I use this product directly on my clothing? And, If I spray this on myself and go into a place with bed bugs, will it repel them?

A: No, you cannot use the "Green Earth Homecare Flying and Crawling Insect Killer" directly on clothing. In fact the label clearly states to avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Please note, that this is a legal document and you are only to use it as prescibed on the label.

A: GE Homecare Flying & Crawling aerosol is not toxic to humans and pets and can be applied directly to beds/mattresses for bed bug control. The mattress should be sprayed paying particular attention to the seams and tufts as well as the frame and springs. Insects are killed on contact. Repeat as required.
