avoid it

please don't waste your money on this one. may work ok on grass only, but if you touch it to the edge of a sidewalk, it shatters the blades. do not buy if you intend to trim near concrete.

Broke my trimmer using this.

It theory it seems like a decent tool. I used mine for a whole summer then one day bam! The blade cut into a stick and it stuck. It didn't deflect the same way as if it hit a rock or a fence board. the serrated blade dug in and was caught. The force from the trimmer stripped the cable inside the shaft of the trimmer. I went back to line after that.

No, I do not recommend this product.
