Questions
Q: Use nut with thumb screw? Still not quite following thumb screw installation. Does the nut stay attached to the screw? On rhe outside of the pole or the inside? Screw seems too short to touch pole?

Q: Thumb screw not working? There is nothing on the internal bottom pole for the screw on the top pole to screw into. There's a groove below the screw hole inside the top pole, but no corresponding groove on the bottom pole to slide into or line up with.
11 years agoA: To lock the plastic fan body to the inner pole, just tighten the screw so that the screw can press on the groove on inner pole.

Q: I put the fan together but it won't oscillate. Its clicking I was able to move it one way and it does come back on its own but gets to a certain point and starts to click and doesn't move.
11 years agoA: We would suggest double checking that it is assembled correctly & if so, return it to the Canadian Tire store, with your receipt, for warranty exchange. Warranty exchanges without the original receipt will be offered at the Canadian Tire store’s discretion.
