I purchased a couple of these D handles to repair snow shovels. They are incorrectly listed as Garrant when the packaging states Yardworks and it is stamped on the handles in two locations. The diameter of the bore is 1.25 inches, and it is slightly ribbed to provide a firm fit. The installation was easy and the screws provided were correctly sized for securing the handles to the wooden shafts. After using the shovels in wet and heavy snow several times I found the handles to be firm, strong and more than adequate for my needs.

Does not fit Garant shovels

I bought this as a replacement for my Garant snow shovel handle.
It was simply not long enough to find the hole in the shaft. It looks well made, though, so if it fits, it should be good.

A: Fitted the one spade handle that was broken, don’t know measurements. I think they’re all the same size anyway

Q: The product description shows "1.5 - inch handle ..." Is this the inside diameter? The snow shovel for which I need this has a 1.25 inch diameter wood shaft (still good as new.) I am not sure if this will fit my shovel.
