Nice unit for price, but not perfect, doors did not line up square and there is no way to adjust. Nice that each step has bag of parts with corresponding numbers. Even had a bag of spare parts which I did need as some parts were defective. Not all pieces are numbered so had to guess according to the pictures and actually had two #1 pieces and no # 3. Store was great they just swapped out the piece from another package. Glue was dried out as another reviewer mentioned.

Loved that the pieces were all numbered and each bag of screws # , workmanship is very good, well worth the money, don't expect that you can slap this together in 5 minutes! looks great, am very happy with this,very sturdy also.

Q: Can this be installed without legs? I'd like to know whether this unit can hung on the wall without attaching the legs. Also, how does installation work--does it have to be centered on wall studs?

  • A: While we are not advising this as we are not construction experts, one could mount just the top of the spacesaver to a wall. The main thing to consider is that the top cabinet portion would need to be securely fastened to the wall to prevent it from coming off the wall. By attaching the unit to wall studs with the proper fasteners, the unit should be secure enough. Also the substrate to which the cabinet is being mounted on needs to be solid and if necessary the proper anchors need to be installed to prevent the screws from becoming loose in the wall. We do carry the Lexington wall cabinet (63-5480) if you solely want to have a wall cabinet. You can view this item on our website.
