This is a very useful item to have in a small apartment. I can put just about all my small appliances onto it and wheel it into my walk-in kitchen when I need, and wheel it back out of the way when I'm done. Very sturdy, easy to put together and very handy to have. It'd be good for many other uses as well...crafts etc.

Q: I got a raincheck for this item when it was in the flyer 2 weeks ago. When are they restocking? I drove 30 mins to 2 other CanTire's in my area who were listed to each have 1 in stock. I was told the 1 in stock was a display model and they wouldn't sell it. Now those stores have 0 in stock and have sold the display models to other customers.

A: Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as “food-safe finish”. Under Canadian law, no finishes are allowed that contain unsafe ingredients, such as lead. Any dangerous components – solvents – are evaporated off before you get exposed. In a worst-case scenario, if the finish were chipping off under your knife and you ingested some flakes, it would be the same as eating any other type of plastic – minute amounts won’t hurt you. CT’s answer is correct.

A: As it has wheels, I don’t think a kitchenaid stand mixer can operate well on the cart’s top.

A: If you remove the casters and wheels , this will shorten the total height.

Q: I just put mine together that I picked up today and the cutting board ruber legs don't all line up. I have tried turning it around and no matter which way I have it only two will line up and two will not.

A: It's likely the posts are a bit off kilter. When I put mine together I had to force the tops of the legs together to fit the rubber feet of the top on. No damage done and when all together it was very solid.

A: The black shelf support clips don't have to lock together at first. They will tighten up when you put the shelf on. Narrow end of black clips to top (as indicated on the clips) and the wide end of the shelf supports to the bottom. It's a press fit.

A: you can put the shelf anywhere in the unit. Just move the clips to the desired spot!
